The best place to start is where my interest in bondage first began which was way back in the late 1970's. I was always a fan of Emma Peel in the Avengers as she tied up in almost every episode and i rememeber her saying in an interview that she enjoyed it and thought it was kinky.
If you are old enough i am sure you remember the detective magazines in the newsagents, i thought they were great and the models always looked realistic as though they were really in peril. I did buy a few in those days and also there was a company based in the Isle Of Wight which sold used copies and i bought some from there too. I never had a large collection but i sold them eventually for a small loss.
As for my first experience of actually tying a female up that came with a ex-girlfriend who i lived with for a few years. It all came about when we were watching a tv programme one night and a girl was getting tied to a chair and was also gagged. My girlfriend said she liked the thought of getting tied up so i suggested to her that i thought it might be fun also so we went out the next day and bought some ropes. Bondage was not a large part of our life but we did have some fun times occasionally but it was always our little secret.
So that was where i really got interested in bondage through the tv,magazines,then the real thing and later along came the internet.........
